Albert Friend – World Finals Karting Success

Albie is 8 years of age and during September he competed at the Wera British Kart Championship at Whilton Mill Kart Track. Albie came in 1st place in the Micro Max 900 Class and this means that he has won a ticket to represent the UK at the Rotax Max World Finals in Bahrain in December 2021. He will competing against drivers aged between 8 and 11 years of age from across the World at the event.
 
Albie races across the country and is the top placed 8 year old in all of the Championships that he is currently competing in, it is only his first full year of racing at British Championship level. Albie started practicing at 6 years old at Rye House Raceway in Hoddesdon where Lewis Hamilton also began.
